MEDITATION AND
MINDFULNESS
Meditation has been practised seemingly since time began. Science has caught up with experiential wisdom and the benefits of meditation are clear to see. There are so many different ways of experiencing meditation. It deepens our self-connection, lowers our pain response, helps build self-control, breaks cycles of negative chatter, and develops our self-awareness.
I also teach mindfulness as well as meditation, as they are not the same thing, but go hand in hand. Meditation requires intentional focus, leading to an altered state of consciousness that connects you to a deeper inner-self. It literally changes your brain waves. On the other hand, mindfulness is about being fully present and engaged in the moment, which is easily applied in our everyday activities.
Building your own meditation or mindfulness practice can greatly enhance your experience of life, and I am more than happy to help show you the way. Sessions can be held online or in person.
